Q: What changes are taking place at Animal Supply and why?

A: Animal Supply is making changes to our internal systems and processes to reach our goal of one national operating system. With these changes we are able to bring our valued retailers a greater selection of product availability as well as cohesive and streamlined processes across our distribution network.

Q: When will the changes take place?

A: You will see the changes and expanded product availability with deliveries starting Monday, May 23, 2022.

Q: What new products will be available to me?

A: Once the changes have taken place, you will be able to see the expanded product availability on our website, order.animalsupply.com. You may also reach out to your Animal Supply Company Representative for this information.

Q: Will my Sales Representative change?

A: No, your Sales Representative will remain the same.

Q: Will my Inside Sale Representative change?

A: No, your Inside Representative will remain the same. However, with this change, we will have a larger team of inside contacts who will be able to assist you, should your contact be out of office or unavailable.

Q: Will there be changes in how I can submit my order?

A: You can still submit your Animal Supply orders as you always have via email, fax, phone or on the website. However, you will now have access to a new and improved website and a mobile app, we encourage you to check it out! Your username and login will be provided in a separate communication.

Q: Will there be changes to the hours of operation?

A: Yes, you will now be able to reach us reach us Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm EST and Fridays 8am-3pm EST.

Q: Will My Animal Supply Account Number change?

A: Yes. Please watch for an email from Animal Supply regarding your new account number. You may also reference this document. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact us at (800) 323-2963 or orders@animalsupply.com.

Q: Will there be changes to my order and delivery day?

A: There may be changes to your order and delivery day. Please watch for an email from Animal Supply regarding potential changes or reference this document. Q: Will my order deadline change?

A: Yes, the new order deadline will be 12:00pm EST for all orders. This change is necessary to provide the time to pick, transfer and ship the additional brands we will be offering.

Q: Will the minimum order change?

A: No, the minimum order will remain at $500 for Animals Supply Truck routes and $1500 for LTL routes.

Q: Will there be changes to my pricing?

A: We are working to keep all pricing the same, or as close as possible to your current pricing. However, there may be slight variances. Please reach out to your Animal Supply Representative if you have questions regarding your pricing.

Q: Will I still be eligible to receive backorders for promotionally priced product?

A: Yes! Our backorder policy will remain the same. For any items you purchase on promotional price that cannot ship on the requested ship date, a backorder will be created to ship when the product arrives.

Q: Will I still be eligible for ASC promotions and sales?

A: Yes! Just now with more great products and promotions to take advantage of!

Q: Will there be changes to my invoice?

A: Yes, please see the invoice example for your new Animal Supply Invoice. Included in this update are different options for how your invoice is sorted. If you would like to learn about these options, please reach out at (800) 323-2963 or send an email orders@animalsupply.com.

Q: Will my fuel surcharge change?

A: Animal Supply watches trends within gas prices and adjusts fuel surcharges accordingly. However, your fuel surcharge will not change due to the expansion of product selection.

Q: Will there be any changes to how I report issues with my order for credit or return?

A: Yes, going forward please contact us to report these issues within 72 hours of receipt, either by calling us at (800) 323-2963, emailing returns@animalsupply.com or by submitting a request through the website.

Q: Will there be any changes in how I submit Consumer Returns or Frequent Buyer Cards?

A: Yes, you may continue to remit these documents to your Animal Supply Co driver in a clearly marked envelope with your account name and number, but now you will also be able to submit on our website.
