IRVING, TX – September 25, 2020 – Animal Supply Company (‘ASC’ or ‘the Company’), the national leader in pet food and supplies distribution, is pleased to announce the promotion of Tim Batterson to President and Chief Executive Officer. Don McIntyre, former Chief Executive Officer, has accepted a position as Chief Executive Officer for another company outside of the pet industry.
Batterson joined Animal Supply Company in 2014, most recently serving as its Chief Operating Officer. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, IT, manufacturing, purchasing, logistics and distribution.
“I’m excited to work with my ASC teammates in this new role to expand our innovative product portfolio, distribution services and digital solutions to best serve our brand and retail partners,” said Batterson. “Animal Supply Company is financially stronger and better positioned for future growth than ever before.”
