Our Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

 

At Animal Supply Company, everything we do is for the health, safety and happiness of pets and those who love them. We continue to monitor, plan and respond to developments and recommendations from health and government officials. Here are just some of the actions we’re taking to keep our teammates, customers and communities safe and our retailers’ doors open to provide essential products and services to the public.

For Our Retail Customers and Brand Partners

We implemented a Business Continuity Committee to enhance business operations and continuity plans for our offices and distribution centers.  This cross-functional team is committed to taking the steps necessary to minimize potential risks and disruptions. Our partners can rest assured we are prepared to keep our trucks running and your store shelves stocked!

For Our Teammates

We are closely monitoring safe work practices recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) and communicating these preventative measures to our teammates across all locations to ensure a safe work environment.  Some of these measures include additional disinfecting touchpoints, hand-washing multiple times a day and wearing gloves as appropriate.  This includes canceling or postponing ASC-related events and travel, and implementing a remote work action plan for our office-based teammates to ensure the seamless continuation of our business.

We’ve also implemented health and welfare programs to assist teammates who are personally affected by COVID-19.  We are dedicated to supporting our teammates to ensure we all remain happy, healthy, and safe.
